Dear ISSA Members,
2025 has been an exciting year for the newly formed American Maritime Suppliers & Services Association (AMSSA), following official recognition by the ISSA Assembly during ISSA 67 in Singapore.
Appointed as the new National Association for ship suppliers in the United States, it is now poised to formalise key aspects of the Association to fully realise its purpose: supporting and advocating for the interests of Marine Suppliers and Service Providers across the US, the world’s largest trading nation.
The recent AMSSA Executive Board virtual meeting outlined necessary measures needed to be adhered to by companies wishing to join the new Association.
Members will have the option to join ISSA at their discretion, but only through the US National Association, that is AMSSA. To ensure members’ interests are well represented, an Advisory Body will be formed to provide guidance and recommendations to the Executive Board.
We look forward to your active participation in these initiatives and to a successful year ahead for AMSSA. Together, we can advance the interests of Marine Suppliers and Service Providers throughout the United States.
